Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” Monthly Membership Terms of Use
In addition, by applying to use this service, the member is deemed to have agreed to these terms.
In addition, the rules of Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” (hereinafter referred to as “this facility”), other rules established by our company, and the Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” facility rules are also included in these terms.
Article 1 (Definitions)
1. “Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY”” refers to the sauna service provided and operated by our company and related services (hereinafter referred to as “this service”).
2. “Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” facility” refers to a facility where Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” can be used.
3. “Monthly Member” refers to a person who applies to use this service and has the right to use this service by our company accepting the application.
4. “Paid amenities” refers to amenities that can be purchased and used by paying a fee within the Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” facility.
Article 2 (Application of these Terms, etc.)
1. These Terms apply to the general use of this service.
2. Our company may change the contents of these Terms at any time. The changed Terms will be notified to members on the screen of this service, and the changed Terms will apply from the time of such notification. In addition, when the changed Terms are posted on this site and a member uses this service, the member is deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms.
3. Our company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by a member due to changes to these Terms based on the preceding paragraph.
Article 3 (Application for Use)
1. A person who wishes to use this service (hereinafter referred to as the “Applicant”) shall apply to use this service in the manner specified by our company. This service is a monthly membership-based unlimited sauna service.
2. When the application in the preceding paragraph is made and accepted by the Company, a contract for the use of this service (hereinafter referred to as the “Contract”) is concluded between the applicant and the Company, and the applicant becomes a member of this service and can use this service after the Contract is concluded.
3. After the Contract as set forth in the preceding paragraph is concluded, the member can enter the Asakusabashi sauna “SANCTY” 24 hours a day using the method specified by the Company.
4. The use of this facility is unlimited during the contract period of this service.
Article 4 (Payment)
1. Members shall pay the registration fee and usage fee as follows.
(1) Payment methods shall be cash, various electronic money, and credit card.
(2) The registration fee and administrative fee of 9,980 yen (tax included) shall be paid at the time of application for use of this service. (3) A monthly fee of 9,980 yen (tax included) is to be paid at the time of application for this service, and thereafter every month.
(4) The admission fee and administrative fee are to be paid only at the time of conclusion of this contract, and thereafter, payment in the preceding paragraph (2) is to be made only.
(5) In the case of payment in cash or by various electronic money, (2) and the first monthly fee payment for two months are to be 19,960 yen.
2. The payment in the preceding paragraph shall be made by the method designated by the Company.
3. The monthly unlimited sauna use fee shall be paid as per (2) and (3) or (5) upon re-enrollment if the membership expires.
Article 5 (Members’ Obligations)
1. When using this service, members shall observe the following items. If the Company determines that a Member has violated any of the items listed in the preceding paragraphs, the Company may take any measures it deems necessary, such as suspending provision of the Service or terminating this Agreement. Furthermore, the Company shall not be held liable for any damages suffered by the Member as a result of such violations.
(1) Do not violate these Terms and Conditions or the rules for use of the Service set by the Company (including the rules for use of Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY”).
(2) Do not use the sauna facilities when feeling unwell or after consuming alcohol.
(3) Do not register or respond with false, false or inaccurate information when applying for the Service.
(4) If the Member is a minor, an adult ward, a person under curatorship or assistance, the Member must obtain the consent of the legal representative, guardian, curator or assistance to use the Service.
(5) The member will not allow a third party to use the contact tools for this service, the contents (electronic keys) necessary for use of the Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” facility, or any other items provided to the member through the use of this service, and will not sell, transfer, or lend them to a third party.
In addition, this service is only applicable to those who have completed the application for use.
(6) After registering as a member, the membership period must continue for at least two months. In the event of a violation, a penalty of 20,000 yen will be charged.
(7) Not to engage in any other actions that the company deems inappropriate.
2. The member agrees that in order to protect the safety of the member, the company will install security cameras on the roof of the Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” facility, that the member’s head and entire body may be captured on the security cameras, and that the company and its contractors will manage safety by monitoring the security cameras.
Our company uses surveillance camera footage to ensure the safety of our members, and will not provide it to third parties other than our contractors or use it for any other purpose, except as permitted by law and our privacy policy, and will delete the surveillance camera footage after a certain period of time has passed.
Article 6 (Suspension and Termination of the Service)
Our company may suspend or terminate all or part of the use of the Service in any of the following cases after notifying the Member on the Service screen, etc. However, in the case of an emergency, the Service may be suspended without any notice to the Member. Furthermore, our company shall not be liable for any damage caused to the Member as a result of this.
(1) When maintenance, inspection, repair, maintenance, improvement, relocation, etc. of the Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” facilities, servers, computer systems, communication lines, software, and other equipment becomes necessary.
(2) When an accident, failure, or malfunction occurs in the Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” facilities, servers, computer systems, communication lines, software, and other equipment.
(3) When it becomes difficult or impossible to provide this service due to laws and regulations, etc.
(4) When the Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” facilities are rented out exclusively for events, etc.
(5) When the Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” facilities are renovated.
(6) When the Company deems it necessary for other reasons.
Article 7 (Changes and Termination of This Service)
1. The Company may change (including changing to a reservation system) or terminate this service at any time for its own convenience. The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by members due to changes or abolition of this service, but shall notify members of such a change if the Service is to be abolished.
2. Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” may change the reservation system in consideration of the situation. In such a case, the Company shall notify members separately.
Article 8 (Notice)
Inquiries regarding this Service and other contacts or notices from members to the Company, as well as notices regarding changes to these Terms and Conditions and other contacts or notices from the Company to members, shall be made in the manner specified by the Company.
Article 9 (Prohibited Acts)
1. Members shall not engage in any of the following acts when using this Service.
If a member commits any of the following acts, or if the Company determines that a member has committed such acts, the Company may immediately suspend provision of the Service, terminate this Agreement, or take any other measures as the Company determines. In such cases, the usage fee for the day will be collected as a penalty and no refunds will be made. In addition, if this Agreement is terminated based on this article, the Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the member as a result of this.
(1) Using the sauna facility after consuming alcohol.
(2) Using the sauna facility while feeling unwell.
(3) Bringing food and drink, dangerous objects (glass products, metal/knives, explosives), or flammable objects into the sauna room.
(4) Climbing over or climbing handrails or fences.
(5) Dropping or throwing trash, etc.
(6) Any act that violates laws and regulations, or solicits or encourages illegal acts.
(7) Any act of illegally invading or accessing, or attempting to illegally invade or access, the Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” facilities or the network or system of this Service.
(8) Any act of using paid amenities or paid drinks without having purchased them.
(9) Any act of using the Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY” facilities while suffering from an infectious disease.
(10) Any act of using the Service in a manner not expressly stated by this Company, such as lending, transferring, modifying, or republishing the whole or part of this Service on other sites without our consent.
(11) Any act of impersonating a third party (including a member).
(12) Any act of using this Service again despite having been terminated by us in the past.
(13) Any act of using this Service by the same member using multiple devices, etc.
(14) Any act of transmitting information containing a computer virus or other harmful computer program.
(15) Any act that causes disadvantage, damage, discomfort, etc. to our company or other members.
(16) Any act of belonging to or involvement with antisocial forces.
(17) Any illegal act or act that goes against public order and morals.
(18) Any criminal act or act that is linked to a criminal act.
(19) Any act of soliciting or encouraging other members or our employees to commit illegal acts.
(20) Any act that causes economic or mental damage or disadvantage, etc. to other members or our employees.
(21) Any act that causes harassment of residents of the facility or neighboring residents, or any act of misconduct or nuisance, or any other act that interferes with the provision of this service by violating the provisions of laws, regulations, public order, etc.
(22) Any act that infringes on the Company’s business, reputation, credit, copyright, patent, utility model, trademark, other intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, etc.
(23) Any act that provides services based on all or part of this Service.
(24) Any act that uses this Service for purposes other than sauna activities.
(25) Any act that uses abusive language or threats against our employees, or any other act that interferes with the Company’s business operations.
(26) Any act that does not use this Service for a considerable period of time and does not respond to contact from our Company.
(27) Any act that violates the rules of use for this Service (including the rules of use for Asakusabashi Sauna “SANCTY”) established by our Company.
(28) Any other act that our Company deems inappropriate.
2. In addition to the items in the preceding paragraph, if required by law, or if the Company determines it is necessary for the purpose of protecting the Company’s rights, property, services, etc., or for the purpose of protecting the life, body, or property of a third party, the Company will disclose the Member’s information to the extent necessary to the institutions that have made inquiries, etc., in accordance with the law, as well as to public authorities such as courts and police.
